Pre registration nursing

East Cheshire NHS Trust provide a range of clinical placements for pre registration student nurses as part of their practice circuit taking students from Chester, Manchester Metropolitan and Manchester University. Our aim is to provide a high quality, positive learning experience to all students while on placement at the trust.

Are you interested in training to become a registered nurse?

East Cheshire NHS Trust provides the practical placements for student nurses undertaking adult, child and midwifery courses in partnership with the University of Chester. We also provide placements for adult branch students from Manchester Metropolitan University.
The programmes are three years full time, 37.5 hrs per week and include shift work while on placement covering the whole. For more information please call Julie Brown on 01625 661986.

Pre registration nursing events

These sessions are open to all branches of student nurses, student members of the multi-professional team, health care assistants, return to practice students and newly qualified nurses. Students please check with your mentor or supervisor to agree attendance. Contact Julie Brown on  01625 611986 if you wish for further information. All sessions are held in the Education and Training Centre Macclesfield District General Hospital.
