Neurosurgery

We provide a comprehensive Neurosurgical Service at Macclesfield Hospital delivered by visiting consultants Mr Andy King and Mr John Thorne Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust.

We manage patients with a wide variety of Neurosurgical problems including:

• Degenerative spine disease
• All other spine pathology
• Neurovascular disease
• Neuro-oncology
• Hydrocephalus
• Skull base surgery
• Trigeminal neuralgia

Our services

The neurosurgery service is an outpatient service available through choose and book. All patient appointments will be accommodated accommodated in clinics held at Macclesfield. Specialist neurosurgery services are provided by Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust.
