Ear, Nose and Throat service

East Cheshire NHS Trust has a small dedicated Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) service for children and adults. Offering outpatient clinics, day case and short stay surgery. Patients who need longer stays in hospital will go to Leighton Hospital near Crewe.

Our team

• Two ear, nose and throat consultants
• One associate specialist doctor
• One nurse practitioner

The service is also supported by other specialists including audiologists, who use special equipment and tests to assess your hearing and speech therapists.

Our objectives

We aim to provide a local ENT service to patients within East Cheshire, which is both convenient and effective. Patients who have many different conditions are referred to us including: disorders of the ear, conditions of the nose, voice disorders, throat and neck problems can all be seen in our department.
 
You may be seen at any of the different clinics covered by our service, including: Macclesfield District General Hospital, Congleton War Memorial Hospital and Knutsford District Hospital. We have special clinics for hearing and voice disorders.

Our consultants and associate specialist doctors are highly experienced and qualified surgeons. We aim to treat all patients within 18 weeks of referral by their GP
