The Outpatient Reception Team welcome patients into the outpatient department. The receptionist will be available from 8.30am to 5.00pm from Monday to Friday.
If you have an outpatient appointment please report to the outpatient reception desk. On arrival in the waiting area, please give your appointment letter to a member of the team so that we know you have arrived.
You will be asked to confirm personal details eg your name, address, date of birth, GP and next of kin. This information is extremely important in ensuring your patient records are kept upto date and will remain confidential.
If patients do hold a patient passport, please ensure the receptionist is aware and any requirements that are needed from this passport will be met according to their request. If a picture letter is required for a future appointment our receptionist will be more than happy to provide this.
We offer a coaster system to patients who wish to leave the department for refreshments should there be a delay in clinic. You will be recalled back to the department as soon the doctor/nurse is ready to see you. Please ask our reception staff for further information
