It is not unusual to experience all sorts of conflicting emotions when you have finished treatment for cancer. Some people return to work and their lives without any difficulty but some can find it quite challenging to try and get ‘back to normal’ when ‘normal’ is different from what they remember.
Please do not hesitate to telephone us in the support and information office of the Macmillan Cancer Resource Centre on the number below if you would like to talk through your feelings with us. There are many areas of help and support available.
The Information and Support Team can offer guidance and signposting to local organisations who can help with benefit and welfare advice.
For immediate benefits advice please call the Macmillan Cancerline on 0808 808 0000 or visit Macmillan Cancer Support. Macmillan produce several booklets available on the website, such as 'Help with the cost of cancer'.
