Physiotherapy

The physiotherapy service operates out of Macclesfield District General Hospital providing a service to a wide range of specialities encompassing all age ranges in general medicine, surgery, intensive care, rheumatology, orthopaedics, women’s health, dermatology, musculoskeletal outpatients, neurology, paediatrics and occupational health.

Working in partnership with patients and their carers through a process of assessment, evaluation, treatment and education, we aim to restore function and independence where possible by alleviating pain, improving joint mobility, strengthening muscle groups and supplying mobility aids as needed.
