MAST

MAST (charity no.1000695) was established as an independent charity 19 years ago by a patient to raise money for the hospital’s first CT scanner.

Since then the charity has raised well over £2,000,000 to provide numerous items for the benefit of patients. Without MAST many hospital departments would not have this vitally needed new equipment which is not able to be provided from the NHS funding budget..

Our objectives

MAST’s objective as a charity is “The relief of sickness and protection of health of people of Macclesfield and its surrounding area by providing or assisting in the provision and maintenance of medical equipment and facilities for patient care and medical treatment."

Our campaigns

MAST launched their new appeal for digital mammography - breast screening scanners on the 8 July -  you can find more details on the campaign and how you can help our new website www.mast.org.uk
